Noah Mandel – Ursinus College (Tennis)

Major:  Undecided

Final list of colleges:  Ursinus, Lafayette

Reasons for choosing Ursinus:  “Cost, atmosphere and academics. Ursinus had the atmosphere for student-athletes that I wanted to be a part of. It was also the best cost of all my options.”

What was the progression that led you to competing in tennis at the collegiate level?  “In 10th grade, I began to think my skills were good enough to take me to the next level.  When I began looking at colleges, I listed tennis as a hobby/sport, and some coaches reached out to me. The Ursinus coach and I clicked well, and I met the other guys on the team. We all got along, and he said I have a spot on the roster.”

Coach Eric Scholl says:  “Noah is the hardest worker on the men’s tennis team I ever had. He was always looking to get better. He was a team captain as a sophomore and played first singles for us as a senior.”
