Payton Spadaccino – Bloomsburg University (Basketball)

Major:  Education

Reasons for choosing Bloomsburg:  “Great education program, and I get to further my basketball career.”

What was the progression that led you to competing in basketball at the collegiate level?  “Ever since I started playing at the age of nine, I knew I wanted to play college basketball. The recruiting process didn’t start until junior year, then senior year is when I finally picked a school to spend the next four years of my life, and I love my choice and can’t wait to start.”

Coach Jason Rapp says:  "Payton has been an outstanding player, teammate and leader for CR South the past four seasons.  Bloomsburg is getting a pure point guard who is a tremendous defender.  Payton's ability to quarterback the offense and get open shots for other players should allow her to be successful at the college level."
