Beth McGee – Shippensburg University (Soccer)
Major:
Exercise Science
Reasons for choosing Shippensburg:  “I chose Shippensburg as my final decision because when I went, I was able to watch the team play and afterwards meet with the coaching staff and players. I knew Ship was for me. When it came to the soccer part of my decision, which I knew played a big role, and the fact they had my major as well, I fell in love with the school.”
Favorite sport memory:  “My favorite memory is winning the Inter-County Soccer League (ICSL) Division 4 U11 Championship with Harleysville Football Club because it was my first championship ever.”
My inspiration to be a college athlete came from:  “My family because they supported me no matter what. My sisters were a big influence as well because they were who inspired me to play soccer in the first place. My dad had coached me for many years and my mom was always willing to help and support me in any way possible.”
Coach Chris Felber says:  “Beth is super talented – she’s very strong, very fast, and she can run forever. She’s 100 percent committed on the field. As a defender, she’s just incredibly tough. Also, she has a good eye to go forward and has a wonderful cross, so we used her as a wing back last year – asked her to defend on the outside but also asked her to get forward and start our attacks and also create some goals, which she did fantastically well.”

Jaclyn Parry – Philadelphia University (Soccer)
Major:
Graphic Design
Final list of colleges:  Philadelphia University, Messiah, The College of New Jersey
Reasons for choosing Philadelphia University:  “I chose Philadelphia University because the academics are better than my other choices, and the university overall was a better fit for me. It’s everything I want in a college.”
Favorite sport memory:  “My favorite sport memory is playing with my sister on varsity for three years. As best friends on and off the field, we were able to build our connection through doing something that we both enjoyed doing.”
My inspiration to be a college athlete came from:  “Mostly my family but also my teammates and my club coach, Coach Bill. They all encouraged me to keep up the hard work and use my talent to benefit me past high school.”
Coach Chris Felber says: “I could say the same thing about Paige - she is very, very similar to Beth. They both played wing back together – Paige was on the other side. She’s a wonderful 1v1 player. She didn’t cross as much, but she’s very good 1v1 both defensively and offensively. Trying to stop her from getting past you and trying to get past her was pretty tough.”

Paige Torchio – University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown (Soccer)
Major:
Undecided
Final list of colleges:  University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, Columbia College
Reasons for choosing Pitt at Johnstown:  “I chose to go to the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown because I fell in love with the size and feel of the campus. It is the best fit for me.”
Favorite sport memory:  “My favorite sport memory is going to soccer tournaments for the past six years on the weekends with my best friends. (My senior) season was my favorite and was full of memories.”
My inspiration to be a college athlete came from:  “My club coach, Tom Haney, and all the athletes I have ever played with have made me want to play at a collegiate level.”
Coach Chris Felber says:  “Jaclyn is a goalie and a wonderful shot stopper. Whenever there was a shot from distance, you feel completely comfortable that she’s going to save it. That was really her big strength.”

Kara Waskiewicz – Lock Haven University
Coach Chris Felber says:
“She’s playing center mid at Lock Haven. Kara is just a tremendous hard worker, very intelligent. She really worked hard at it, and she used her brain, she used her work rate, and she really made herself into a good player. As a leader and captain last year, it was awesome to have that.”
