Clifton Moore – Hatboro-Horsham (Basketball)

Major:  Undecided

Final list of colleges:  Indiana, Lafayette, St. Joe’s, Temple, Northwestern

Reasons for choosing Indiana:  “They were honest with me, they liked my skill set, they showed me what they liked about me and what I could get better at, and they said they would support me. It’s a great school academically, and they’re a great basketball school – they’ll develop me as a player and into a more mature person too. What it came down to was I just liked how they approached me and talked to me. It’s so exciting. I can’t wait to be part of their family. It’s a great achievement. I can’t let them down.”

What was the progression that led you to competing in basketball at the collegiate level?  “The summer of 10th grade is when I realized that I had a lot of potential. I went to tournaments with colleges watching, but it wasn’t until 11th grade that I started developing and blossoming. During the playoffs, Lafayette saw my one playoff game – they were the first one, and then it was a chain reaction over the summer.”

Coach Ed Enoch says:  “God has blessed him with a lot of physical attributes – his size and length make him a pretty special basketball player. More than that, he’s a good kid. He’s a hard worker, and he doesn’t take anything for granted.
“The fact that he’s so tall is obviously one of the great attributes he has, but he’s also a very skilled athlete. He runs very well, he’s a very good shooter, and he’s a good ball handler. He’s actually a very complete basketball player, and then you throw his size into it, and it’s a nice combination.”
