Trevor Kupecky

Major:  Undecided, possibly business

Final list of colleges:  Hofstra, Duke, University of North Carolina

Reasons for choosing Hofstra:  “I really like the coaching staff – Seth Tierney and coach Brazel. The lacrosse facilities were great, and I really liked the campus, so it was a good fit for me.”

What was the progression that led you to playing collegiate lacrosse?  “I started playing lacrosse in fifth grade, and after a couple of years, I realized I was pretty good at it. By seventh or eighth grade, it was one of my goals to play in college.”

Coach Brady McCormick says:  “Trevor stood out since his freshman year. He was a key member when we won the conference in 2010 as a freshman. He’s just continued to develop his skill set, but the biggest thing with Trevor is his drive. On the hottest days of the summer, he was the lone kid out on the field and not even necessarily working on his stick skills but he was doing running and sprinting. The drive is always the key to where he’s gotten.
“Hofstra has a great coaching staff, and I think he will be able to fit in well with that recruiting class.”
