Joey Logue – Penn State University (Track)

Major:  Undecided

Reasons for choosing Penn State:  “They have great facilities, coaches, team and program.”

What was the progression that led you to playing collegiate lacrosse?  “Ever since I stepped on the track, I knew this is what I wanted to do.”

Cross country coach Terry Permar says:  “(What sets Joey apart is his) work ethic and commitment to running. He’s got a passion for running.”

Track coach Bob Hosier says:  “His work ethic is way above normal. He’s got great talent, but so do a lot of other people. He developed the talent that he has, and that’s what separated him from the rest. He showed that as a freshman when he stepped in and made an impact on our track team. He had fear of no team or no person. He just went from there. He started out as a sprinter, and as the years went by, we moved him up to middle distance, and he can do all of those (events) very, very well.”
