Neshaminy Trio Playing Collegiate Football

On Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2015, Neshaminy seniors Matt Magdelinskas, D’Andre Pollard and J.R. Stevens were recognized for signing letters of intent to play football at the collegiate level.

What was the progression that led you to competing in football at the collegiate level?  “I started thinking about it this summer. The original plan was to play lacrosse, but I decided to turn it on for football, and I got it done.”
Coach Steve Wilmont says:  “Matt was gifted with a lot of speed, and he used that speed very well on the football team. He had a lot of breakaway runs last year as a running back, and as a defensive player, he definitely used that speed to get himself in the right position to make a lot of good football plays.”
