Kathleen Stevenson – Bloomsburg University (Track & Field)

Major:  Biology/Pre-Physical Therapy

Final list of colleges:  Bloomsburg, Bucknell

Reasons for choosing Bloomsburg:  “I chose Bloomsburg because it just felt like home, and it had the major I wanted.”

What was the progression that led you to competing in track at the collegiate level?  “I always knew I wanted to run track in college. When I started in middle school, I knew I wanted to, and I just took it from there.”

Assistant coach Brandon Turner says:  “When I met Kathleen four years ago, she was a kid who had incredible potential. She could do everything – she threw shot put, she jumped, she sprinted, and over the last few years, she’s really matured. Her work ethic has really changed over the last two years. She’s grown as an athlete. She holds multiple schools records, and I’m proud of her and excited about what she’s going to do moving forward.”
