Jagger Hartshorn – Wagner College (Football)
Major:
Criminal Justice
Final list of colleges: Wagner, Lock Haven, Bloomsburg, Villanova, Sacred Heart
Reasons for choosing Wagner: “When I went there, it was like one big family, and I liked that. Also, for what I want to do as a job, they have a lot of ties with what they can do for me in my future after four years or five years.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in football at the collegiate level?  “I always wanted to play in college since I was a little kid. This was my dream to go to play football in college. My sophomore season I started getting interest from colleges, and it started going from there.”
Coach Jeff Hollenbach says:  “Jagger had an excellent season. I think he’s going to be a real find for Wagner. Everybody could see what he could do with his running ability, his athletic skill – he gets in the open field, and he is just a handful. I think what people didn’t see is his ability to catch the ball. They’re talking to him at quarterback and at slot receiver and wide receiver. Personally, if I had to make a prediction right now - and nothing against his quarterback skills, I think he’s going to end up a slot receiver. He catches everything. He’s a great receiver, and he showed a little bit of that in our games. He had some big plays in our games, but overall, people didn’t get to see too much of that. They could certainly see his ability to scramble out of the pocket and move in the open field and that kind of thing. I think he’s open to any of those positions and see where he lands and where they need him.
“For somebody that just came in for this last year, he had an awesome year offensively in terms of the stats he put up – I want to say he had 8.5 yards a carry, and as a quarterback, that’s pretty crazy because you include sacks with that too. He did not get sacked very often because of his ability to scramble and get out of trouble. He had a huge, huge impact on our team and did some awesome things. He accounted for 25 touchdowns overall. I don’t care who the player is – you can’t count on 25 touchdowns out of a player.”

Joe Robinson – Bloomsburg University (Football)
Major:
Business
Final list of colleges:  Bloomsburg, Slippery Rock, Shippensburg, West Chester
Reasons for choosing Bloomsburg:  “Bloomsburg was just the right fit. They got me up for a visit right before winter break, and all my other visits were scheduled a month after that. They were on me very early, and they just seemed like they were very interested and wanted me as a player on their team to make an impact early. I just felt it was the right fit when I went up there for my first visit. My sister went there so I was familiar with the campus. I just thought it was the right fit for me.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in football at the collegiate level? “When I was younger in high school as a freshman and sophomore, I wanted to play baseball in college. I was actually going to go to a Bloomsburg baseball camp during the fall, and then I hurt my thumb and ended up not going. After my junior year of football, I just realized I love football a lot more than baseball, so I wanted to pursue football. I always wanted to play a college sport, and I just ended up with football.”
Coach Jeff Hollenbach says:  “Joe just had an incredible year at linebacker and on offense. Everything is focused on linebacker, but he really did some nice things for us on the offensive side of the ball too. He is the school record holder for tackles in a season. He and Nick Tarburton tied - they each had 96 tackles this season, which is just phenomenal. Joe is incredibly quick on his reads, and we just loved the way he saw what the offense was doing and he got to the football. I was really impressed with his overall season. It was really beyond what I thought he would do this year. I think the defensive people would say the same thing. He just came up huge.
“During the scouting (combines), the PSAC guys especially were all over him. They loved him. Almost every PSAC school showed interest in him, and I think Bloomsburg is getting an awesome deal here with him. Both (Joe and Jagger) have great futures.”
