Pennridge's Keyser & Sayre to Play Water Polo at Mount St. Mary's

On Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2021, Pennridge seniors Hannah Keyser and Hannah Sayre were recognized for committing to continue their water polo careers at Mount St. Mary’s University.

“Both Hannah Sayre and Hannah Keyser have led by example,” assistant water polo coach Jenna Anselmo said. “From the moment they set foot onto the pool deck, they put every ounce they have into the sport, making sure they both improve as individual athletes but also remembering that it’s a team sport. Watching them excel in a sport that they love has made learning the sport of water polo all the more sweet to me. They are going to be very missed next year – both Hannah Keyser as our goalie and Hannah Sayre as one of our starters. I love that they’re going to be together playing collegiate water polo. It just makes sense to keep Hannah and Hannah together. They’re going to do amazing things.

“Also with Hannah Keyser and Hannah Sayre was coach Anita Whalen who started this water polo journey with me at the same time, and she has taught them so many amazing things that they’re going to use later on in life. I’m very proud of everything they’ve done, and we’re going to miss them very much next year.”
