Madison Hackman – Lehigh University (Track)

Major:  Finance

Final list of colleges:  Lehigh, Tulane, William & Mary

Reasons for choosing Lehigh:  “I just felt like Lehigh was the perfect school for me. Everything about it – it just has such a perfect balance. It’s not too close, not too far. It’s a great school with great academics and a really fun atmosphere, and the coaching is just amazing.”

What was the progression that led you to competing in track at the collegiate level?  “When I was a freshman, I was running with the seniors, and I heard about everything they were doing. I thought it was amazing, and I just hoped that one day I could follow in their footsteps.”

Coach Tim Cass says:  “She’s versatile, dedicated, and she, by far, learned through the process of our program that you only get better and improve by continuing to work hard, and that’s what she did. This is all because of hard work that she’s earned this.”
