Pennsbury's Sauer to Compete in Track at St. Joseph's University

On Tuesday, April 24, 2018, Pennsbury senior Aidan Sauer was recognized for committing to continue his track career at St. Joseph’s University.

Aidan Sauer – St. Joseph’s University (Track)

Major: Undecided/Business

Final list of colleges:  St. Joe’s, Duquesne, Columbia, Penn State

Reasons for choosing St. Joe’s:  “I chose St. Joe’s because I really like the coach and the team. I love the location and the campus. It just seemed like the right fit for me.”

What was the progression that led you to competing in track at the collegiate level?  “Last year during track season, I was running well and I could see myself doing this for four more years. It was tough, but last spring season I felt it was the right thing to do.”

Coach Tim Cass says: “Aidan is a middle distance runner, and he’s the last of three siblings that received scholarship money to compete in track and cross country. There’s nothing better than to be able to coach all three. Aidan is a spitting image of the other two. He has a good work ethic, he’s dedicated, and he’s a good leader. He’s definitely talented and will work his butt off to do what’s good for the team. He’s the ultimate team player.”
