What was the progression that led you to competing in basketball at the collegiate level? “I have always wanted to play college basketball because it is a sport I fell in love with at a young age.”
Coach Dan Dougherty says: “Sydney is a four-year member of our program. This is her first year as captain/starter. She set a career high in points with 17 versus William Tennent earlier this year. For the last two years, Sydney was the ‘sixth man’ on teams that won the SOL American Conference and qualified for districts and states. Sydney spends countless hours working on shooting, and she should be a great addition to Cabrini.”
