Maddie Kalinowski – Lebanon Valley College (Soccer)

Major: Actuarial Science

Reasons for choosing Lebanon Valley: “They have a great actuarial science program along with a great soccer program.

What was the progression that led you to competing in soccer at the collegiate level?  “I started seriously thinking about playing soccer in college my junior year of high school. I utilized NCSA sports program to reach out to schools and gather information about each school before making my final decision to LVC. Overall, coach (Frank) Carroza had an interest in me from the start of my process, which helped me with my decision.”

Coach Jon Gingerich says: “Maddie had her best season of high school soccer this past year. She was second team all-league in the Liberty Division and second in the league in assists with 12. As a soccer player, Maddie has all the attributes a coach looks for – she has incredible ball skills, great field vision and a want to win. Being a central midfielder, Maddie had to be a leader on the field. Her feisty attitude and her willingness to mix it up with the other team gave her tons of respect with her teammates. I’m so proud of Maddie on her accomplishment and wish her nothing but the best at Lebanon Valley.”
