Anthony Blessing – Widener University (Football)
Major:
Business Management
Final list of colleges:  Widener, King’s College, Misericordia, Moravian
Reasons for choosing Widener:  “What really led me to Widener is the coaching staff, and I knew I’d be getting a great education.”
Favorite Souderton sports memory:  “My favorite memory at Souderton was getting to play football with my older brother who is now at Widener University. I’m excited to be able to do that again.”
Coach Ed Gallagher says:  “Anthony Blessing is a hardworking player who made a sacrifice for the team by switching positions on both sides of the football. He moved to defensive end (from linebacker) and provided great speed off the edge as a pass rusher, while also moving to guard on offense (from his fullback and tight end positions). I'm happy that he will be joining his brother Nick at Widener University to continue his football career.”

Dean DiPisa – Franklin & Marshall College (Football)
Major:
Pre-law
Final list of colleges: Franklin & Marshall, Rochester, Ursinus, Johns Hopkins
Reasons for choosing Franklin & Marshall:  “One of the things that really drew me in at Franklin & Marshall was the academic reputation there and the coaching staff they have. They really care about you, and you’re more than just a number on their roster. The new facilities they have at the school are just outstanding.”
Favorite Souderton sports memory: “My favorite memory as a part of Souderton football was all the memories and bond that we created throughout the four years I’ve played here.”
Coach Ed Gallagher says:  “Dean DiPisa is an outstanding young man who provided great leadership for the team as a captain. He threw for a (modern) school record number of yards against Quakertown this past season, and he is capable of playing multiple positions on the football field. I look forward to watching him compete at Franklin & Marshall College in the coming years.”

Favorite Souderton memory:  “Beating CB West to get in the playoffs.”
Coach Ed Gallagher says:  “Nate Kessler is a tough football player. He provided depth for us at guard and linebacker, while excelling on several of our special team units. Playing Sprint football at Chestnut Hill is a great fit for Nate, and I look forward to seeing him compete in the fall.”

Bret Vince – Widener University (Football)
Major:
Marketing
Final list of colleges:  Widener, Ursinus, Lycoming, Albright
Reasons for choosing Widener: “What made me choose Widener was they really treat the football program like it was a Division I program. It’s very well run with an experienced coaching staff. Academically, they were superior to the other schools that I looked at.”
Favorite Souderton sports memory:  “My favorite memory from Souderton football was our last game of the season this year when we beat CB West. We were having a really rough year, and we ended on a good note, so that was a good time.”
Coach Ed Gallagher says:  “Bret Vince also sacrificed for the team by moving from his tight end position to guard. He had a great season for us at inside linebacker, but also strengthened our offensive line by moving to guard. Bret has a great work ethic and character, so I look forward to him excelling as he continues his career at Widener University.”

Trevor Watts – West Chester University (Football)
Major:
Business
Final list of colleges:  West Chester, Villanova and other PSAC schools
Reasons for choosing West Chester:  “I chose West Chester because it was the best fit for me, and I really liked the campus.”
Favorite Souderton sports memory:  “My favorite sports memory is last year – we hadn’t been in the playoffs in seven years, and we ended up beating CB West to get in the playoffs for the first time in a while. It felt great to get in.”
Coach Ed Gallagher says:  “Trevor Watts was a four-year varsity player for us, and he was an excellent leader. He was the best two-way lineman in the Suburban One for the past two seasons, while also showing off his athleticism on the basketball court. Every PSAC school strongly pursued Trevor during the recruiting process, but I think he is a perfect fit for the program at West Chester University. I look forward to seeing him play the next few years.”
