“Both Adam and Matt bring something phenomenal to the table, and they both have been two-time captains,” coach Mark Princehorn said. “This was their second year as captains, and their leadership speaks for itself, both by example and verbal. Their leadership skills were integral to our team, and both of them bring that. We were lucky to have them in those positions of leadership. Both of these guys are great young men. I’m so proud of them and so excited to see what they do at the next level. Both of them have gone about their college decisions the right way, putting academics first.”

Adam Booz – Eastern University (Lacrosse)
Major:
Business Administration
Final list of colleges: Eastern, Gwynedd Mercy
Reasons for choosing Eastern: “The reason I chose Eastern is because of the great lacrosse program they have and the brotherhood they have established on that team. Whenever I talk to somebody, I’ve been hearing great things about the school.”
Favorite Souderton sports memory:  "My favorite memory was last year against Wissahickon. We started off a little slow and were down a few goals. We came back - the defense had a huge defensive stand, props to them for that, and the offense capitalized. I also made more than friends on this team. I have brothers, and that's going to last a lifetime."
Coach Mark Princehorn says: “Adam is a guy who’s been a four-year starter. He’s been one of the program’s all-time leading point scorers, and he’s off to a very successful senior campaign. Adam always brings determination, work ethic and effort to every single practice and every single game. He brings the same intensity – he’s a mirror image of what he displays in practice and in the game. Adam is also a guy who does all the stuff when the lights are off. He’s taking extra shots, he’s working on his craft, he’s got a stick in his hand, and he’s playing lacrosse year round. I’ll be leaving practice or I’ll be coming to school, regardless of the time of day, and he will be outside shooting or getting on the wall or in the weight room. He’s put a lot of time and effort into where he is, and he will continue to do that at the next level, I have no doubt, and it’s going to be fun to watch him develop. Eastern is very lucky.”

Matt Halteman – Delaware Valley University (Lacrosse)
Major:
Agribusiness
Final list of colleges:  Delaware Valley, Cabrini, Penn Tech
Reasons for choosing Del Val:  “I chose Del Val for the location, the nice coaches and the atmosphere of the school.”
Favorite Souderton sports memory:  "My favorite memory last year was a big double overtime win against PW. Also, the relationships I've established with the kids on my team."
Coach Mark Princehorn says:  “Matt Halteman is another guy who is a very good story. Matt sustained an injury his sophomore year and missed an entire season, so Matt is playing without one year of high school experience. The rehab and the surgeries and the work Matt has put into getting healthy have been second to none. You have a young man who has freakish athletic ability and freakish athletic talent who has worked hard enough to get back and be better than where he was before his injury, and that’s something that is quite remarkable. I’m very, very proud of him. Matt was a two-time all-league player, and he was our number one cover guy on defense for the second consecutive year. He’s having himself another phenomenal campaign. His defensive unit pitched back-to-back-shutouts this spring, and regardless of who you’re playing, going 96 minutes straight without giving up a goal is something that’s remarkable. That all started with Matt - Matt’s leadership, Matt’s communication and Matt’s ability to take away the opposition’s number one offensive threat. Matt Halteman was very, very valuable to the success of our program.”
