Triston Loux – Bucknell University (Swimming)
Major: Computer Science
Reasons for choosing Bucknell: “I chose Bucknell because of their excellent computer science program, beautiful campus and Division One swim team.”
What was the progression that led you to swimming at the collegiate level? “Ever since a young age, I 
wanted to be a college swimmer, I wanted to play a sport in college. I started really considering Bucknell when I went there for states my sophomore year. I saw how amazing the campus was and how nice the facilities were, and that’s when I started considering it. Last year when I took a few visits there, I really knew that I wanted to go there.”
Favorite sport memory: “My favorite memory was beating the team 100-yd. record. I first broke the record at an invitational at Bucknell and then lowered it again during states while back at Bucknell.”
Coach Caitlin Warren says: “Triston has been involved in Souderton Aquatics since he was six years old. During his high school career, he first qualified for PIAA Swimming and Diving States as a sophomore and every year after. This past season, Triston broke team records in the 100 fly and 200 IM, and was a member in the 200 and 400 free relays, which also broke team records.
“Triston was also a captain this year, leading by example, and he received the Faccenda Award for his excellence in aquatics. He is an incredibly hard-working individual that always sets the bar high for himself and others. I am excited to see him progress at Bucknell University this fall!”
