Coach Rob Faccenda says: “What makes Cristian special is the way he’s been able to combine a tremendous athletic gift with a great work ethic. He’s been so focused, he’s done everything ever asked of him. His talent is just obvious from the minute you watch him dive in the pool. In our sport, it takes a lot more than talent, and he’s done everything possible for us, and I’ve been just so impressed with the young man that he’s become, even more so than the swimmer that he is.”
