Brian Janetka – Gwynedd Mercy University (Baseball)

Reasons for choosing Gwynedd Mercy: “I chose Gwynedd Mercy because of the small classrooms, and I felt I would get the best education out of that.”
Favorite Souderton sports memory: "My favorite memory was when I was pitching out in the snow for the first time against North Penn. It was a cool experience that I won't forget."
Coach Mike Childs says: “Brian is a kid that just made varsity this year. He did a great job for us against some tough competitors in North Penn and Dock and threw a one-hit shutout. I think he will do great at Gwynedd Mercy and help their pitching staff, and I think he will have a great four-year career.”

Blaise Sclafani – University of Massachusetts Lowell (Baseball)

Reasons for choosing UMass Lowell: “I chose the University of Massachusetts because I love the atmosphere there. They’re an up and coming school - this is their sixth year in Division I.”
Favorite Souderton sports memory: "My favorite memory was last year beating North Penn to take over first place in our conference and also being with the boys every day."
Coach Mike Childs says: “Blaise has been a two-year starter that has worked really hard to become our number one pitcher. Not only has Blaise done it with his pitching, he’s also done it with his bat, hitting for power. He’s a great teammate – the kids look up to him as a motivator to get the team riled up. I think UMass Lowell is going to be a great fit for him. They’re getting a great pitcher to add to their pitching staff, and I think he’s going to succeed.”
