Meredith Giordano – West Chester University (Lacrosse)

Major:  Undecided

Final list of colleges:  West Chester, Amherst, St. Joseph’s, Lehigh, Rollins

Reasons for choosing West Chester:  “I chose West Chester because as soon as I met the team, I felt right at home. The campus and academics were exactly what I was looking for.”

What was the progression that led you to playing lacrosse at the collegiate level?  I’ve always loved lacrosse. I’ve been playing since I was in second grade. Ever since I joined Ultimate Lacrosse Club, Jenny Duckenfield, Michele DeJulius and Anne Pillion have pushed me to be the best I can be and play at the collegiate level. As soon as I entered high school, the race for recruiting started.”

Coach Maggie Canavan says:  "Meredith is a competitive lacrosse player that doesn't stop till she reaches her goal. She wears her heart on her sleeve and that shows in the way she plays. She's very aggressive and I look forward to seeing what she brings to the PSAC."
