Springfield’s Bailey Krewson has committed to play basketball and lacrosse at Immaculata University.

Reasons for choosing Immaculata: “I chose Immaculata University because it was a nice welcoming and family environment and offered me the option to continue playing sports. The coaches and the team were very inviting and showed a strong interest in me attending. The classroom environment seemed fitting for me as well.”
What was the progression that led you to playing both basketball and lacrosse at the collegiate level? “My passion for sports has always made me want to play at the next level, but I started seriously considering it my junior and senior year.”
Lacrosse coach Maggie Canavan says: “Bailey is a go getter! She doesn't wait around for something to happen because she's the one making it happen. Bailey is a natural leader. She's very aggressive and has an admirable work ethic. Losing her is very tough, but Immaculata is lucky to have her!”
Basketball coach Bill Krewson says: “Bailey is hard nosed and won’t quit. She’ll give you everything she’s got. Her toughness is what I like. Mentally and physically, she’s going to hang in and play hard. It’s a wonderful opportunity for Bailey to have a chance to play two sports at the next level.”
