“Jess Sobieski and Meg Barbera have both been with our basketball program the past four years of high school,” UD athletic director Eric Greiner said. “Meg unfortunately had an injury when she was a freshman and sat out her first year, but she has been a part of our varsity program the past three years. Jess was part of our varsity program this past year and was a swing player as a junior.
“Both Jess and Meg are great kids. They work hard, and they are always ready to play anytime they’re put in a game. They’re great students and work hard in the classroom and on the court.”
