Malik Bootman – Albright College (Football)

Major:  Criminal Justice

Final list of colleges:  Albright, Delaware Valley University, Curry College, Misericordia

Reasons for choosing Albright:  “I felt it was the right fit for me and provided me with the best chance to reach my full potential as a student-athlete.”

What was the progression that led you to competing in football at the collegiate level?  “I knew I wanted to play sports in college since middle school, but the thought didn’t become real until October of this year when I was invited on unofficial recruiting game visits.”

Coach Bret Stover says:  “Malik was a wrecking ball at running back for us last season. Malik was really good after contact. He would absorb the first hit, and it often was the third or fourth guy that had to bring him down. Albright got themselves one heck of a running back, and it will be fun to watch his career at the next level.”
