Kevin McFall – Alfred University (Baseball)

Major:  Finance

Final list of colleges:  Alfred, Susquehanna, Lebanon Valley

Reasons for choosing Alfred:  “There were times on my visit that I felt really comfortable and at home, and if I had gone somewhere else, there would have been a shade of regret or curiosity if I didn’t go there.”

What was the progression that led you to playing collegiate basketball?  “I kind of always wanted to play in college just for the experience. Growing up you always want to play on the bigger stage. Going into my junior year, I started getting a little bit of attention, and I realized I could play some level of college basketball. It was just which. When it all started shaking out, I saw that Division III would be a great option. I just wanted to pick the right school.”

Coach Brian Corrado says:  “He’s been awesome – he’s a four-year player, he’s a hard working kid, he’s a coachable kid, he’s a kid that’s respected by his teammates, and he’s really worked every year to improve. A lot of coaches say how he’s one of the better big men in this area. We didn’t have a lot of big guys, and it’s through his hard work and his dedication. I remember his freshman year his first game was against PW against Jalen Bond. He had the deer in the headlight look to the point where now he’s going to a college program, and I think he will do exceptionally well at the next level.”
