Hannah Reape – Ursinus College (Lacrosse)
Major:
Health Sciences
Final list of colleges:  Ursinus, Wagner, Moravian, St. Bonaventure
Reasons for choosing Ursinus:  “I love the location and the size of the school. The team and the atmosphere – it felt like home right when I got on the campus.”
What was the progression that led you to playing lacrosse at the collegiate level?  “I have played a seasonal sport every season, so I never knew which sport I would play until high school when I finally decided it would be lacrosse. I always knew I wanted to play a sport in college.”
Coach Dee Cross says: “I coached Hannah freshman and sophomore years and last year I followed her stats, and I know she did a great job offensively. She’s another one that made great strides between her sophomore and junior year. She’s a great attacker and really picked a good school that she liked, and I think she’ll fit right into their program. We look forward to Hannah having a great senior year scoring some goals and making some assists.”

Shannon Reape – Indiana University of Pennsylvania (Lacrosse)
Major:
Nursing
Reasons for choosing IUP:  “I decided on IUP because the second I visited I knew that was the school. I love the team, the coach is awesome, and it just felt like home. Once I visited IUP, no other schools were in the picture.”
What was the progression that led you to playing lacrosse at the collegiate level?  “The biggest decision was choosing which sport I wanted to play because I do have a love for field hockey. Sophomore year I did club team field hockey, and I realized that I loved lacrosse more. I never hated going to a practice for lacrosse. For lacrosse, I just always wanted to be there.”
Coach Dee Cross says:  “I have watched Shannon grow up because she grew up in Oreland where I live, and I had a chance to coach her freshman year. She played varsity for us and just showed so much promise. She just improved that season, so we were very sad when she left for two years, but to hear that she was coming back – that was one of the first things I heard when I started to coach again, and I was so excited. I know she had a phenomenal hockey season, I know she’s a great leader, and I know she’ll do great in college. She just has a very good work ethic and will probably play defense for us because that’s her specialty.”
