Brennan Snyder – Elizabethtown College (Baseball)

Major:  Accounting

Final list of colleges:  Elizabethtown, Moravian, Millersville, Bloomsburg, Arcadia, York

Reasons for choosing Elizabethtown:  “I felt like the business program was definitely the top overall compared to the other schools. They have a really good job acceptance rate out of your senior year, so that was really enticing to me. I just felt like school-wise, it fit better and was the right size. Baseball-wise, coach Smith is a great guy, and they had a good team.”

What was the progression that led you to playing collegiate baseball?  “It was last year around this time – I was deciding where I was going to play in the summer because I wanted to choose a place to get a certain amount of visibility for coaches. At that point, I could either decide to not play in college and play club ball or play in college. I felt like – I really like playing, so why not play in college and see where I can go to.”

Coach Jim Ertel says:  “Brennan has been a three-year starter. He’s an exceptional player for us. He’s a good defensive outfielder, he’s a good base runner, and he’s even trying to pitch a little bit for us this year, and so far, he’s looked pretty good, and this is his first year of doing that. He’s our three hitter - he was our three hitter last year. He’s one of our team captains.”
