Reasons for choosing Mount Union:  “I liked the campus a lot and the coaching staff. That was the school that I had the most communication back and forth with the coaches.”

What was the progression that led you to playing collegiate football?  “I started thinking about it at the end of my sophomore season. That’s when I realized how much I liked playing football.”

Coach Jeff Cappa says:  “John was a standout in the weight room. He was extremely dedicated to getting stronger and helping the team win. John was a student of the game and understood our schemes and game plan as well as anyone. John was a good leader by example. He worked hard and always had a positive attitude.”
