James Park – Dickinson College (Track & Field)

Academic honors:  4.00 GPA

Athletic accomplishments:  Captain of 2015-16 track team

Clubs/Community service:  President of Asian Studies Association, Volunteer at Blue Bell Church, Public Relations of Amnesty International, Treasurer of CASA.

Coach Rick Leisey Sr says:  “James Park is the hardest working kid that I have had since I’ve been at Wissahickon. He absolutely loves throwing. His knowledge is unbelievable. I depended on him to help some of the other kids, and he made them better.
“He was our team leader, and he really, really, really helped the other kids get better. He’s very, very knowledgeable. Every day he’d be on the internet trying to pick up little things. He’s just a real student of the game. He’s just a great, great kid. I’ve had kids that were better on my team, but he absolutely was a team leader and was one of the favorite guys I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to see him in college. I think he’s going to have a great college career.”
