The Suburban One League Executive Committee voted today to approve Winter Sports with a delayed start. The SOL approved the delay of the start of practices and workouts for all SOL member schools, which will begin on November 23 and continue through December 6.

Competition may begin on December 22 with schools being allowed to play non-league, non- conference, non-divisional or crossover games. Suburban One League play will begin on January 11, 2021. The Executive Committee also resolved that each school district will make its own decision regarding allowing home spectators to home games. Visiting spectators will not be permitted to attend games.

The Suburban One League is committed to the health and safety of all our student-athletes, coaches, and spectators. The Board recognizes that the challenges presented by the COVID -19 pandemic affect each of our member schools differently and that their responses to it are guided by the needs of their respective communities. The League will endeavor to accommodate the scheduling needs of our members and will proceed with the understanding that this is a fluid situation and subject to change.
