CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH GIRLS’ BASKETBALL PREVIEW

Coach:  Beth Mattern, 7th season

Assistant coaches:  Rick Weeks, Gary Christian

Last year’s record:  13- 10 (7-7 SOL)

Notable losses:  Rachel Falkowski (East Stroudsburg University), Archie Schneider, Amber Eife, Kelley Joerger and Christina Ciancarulo

Key returners: Alysha Lofton (12/Guard), Lauren Mosher (12/Forward), Jordan Vitelli (10/Guard)

Others to watch:  Chloe Entenberg (10/Guard), Brie Wade (12/Guard)

Strengths/Question Marks:  Our team has great chemistry; many of the girls have played basketball together for years.  We are looking forward to working together and getting better each game.

Outlook:  “Playing in a very tough SOL Continental Division, we are hoping we can contend with the top teams.  We look forward to the challenge that each game will bring and having to be our best each night.”
