CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH GIRLS’ SOCCER PREVIEW

Head Coach: Betsy Bullock (4th year varsity - been with South since it opened)

Assistant coaches:  Danielle Fiorelli, Robert Miller and Elaine Marucci

Last Year’s Record: 19-6-1 overall, 9-2-1 SOL Continental, District Tournament 2-2, PIAA State Tournament 3-1, State Runner-up, Lost in second overtime to Canon McMillan.

Notable losses:
Sophia Boggs – all-league goalkeeper, Southeastern PA first team, Intelligencer Player of the Year.  Attending Colgate to play D1 soccer.
Courtney Taylor - defender - First team Intelligencer and Southeastern PA  - Playing D1 Lacrosse at Temple
Maddie Koch - midfield - Second team Intelligencer - Playing soccer at West Virginia Wesleyan.
Corinne McDonald - Forward - Playing soccer at the University of Scranton

Outlook:  “This will be a rebuilding year for the Lady Titans after losing several strong players to graduation.  There is a core of strong returners that have playoff experience and we are hoping to make it deep into the post season.”
