Outlook: “We return six starting position players and four of our top five pitchers from last year, in addition to several other position players who gained some level of varsity experience.  I expect us to compete for a league title and to make a run in the playoffs.  We have a rich history of being a program that has produced elite pitchers and this year’s collection of arms, as a staff, is one of the deepest that we have ever produced; and they are all underclassmen.  If we hit like I believe that we will this year, we’re going to be a balanced team that puts up runs while limiting our opponent’s run production.”
