Strengths/Question Marks:  We have a young group that has a lot of upside. This will be the first year since I’ve been at Lower Moreland where we have a core group of eight players that play year round. The biggest question we have coming into the season is how will our young players adjust to the speed and size of the HS game.

Outlook:  “The coaches are excited for the upcoming season. I think that more than half the teams in our conference will enter the season with a legitimate chance to win the conference. It should be a fun and competitive season. We have a lot of new players. Dani Brusha started as a freshman at Abington and missed all of last year due to injury. She will be a huge addition to our program as both a player and leader. Briana McFerran, also a junior, has the talent to be a first team all-league player. We have some ninth graders, Santora, DiJoseph and Martin, who have been playing high level AAU basketball and have all made an immediate impact in practice, and we expect that to carry over to the regular season. Most importantly, we have enough quality players behind those girls mentioned to push and challenge them in practice. We have not seen a big drop off from player five in the rotation to player 11.”
