Neshaminy Boys' Soccer Preview

NESHAMINY BOYS’ SOCCER PREVIEW

Head coach:  Tom Foley--7th year

Assistant coaches: Jim McCourt and Mike Cochran (JV)

Last year’s record:  7-10-1 overall (5-7 SOL)

Notable losses:We graduated 17 seniors. (Chase Rider 1st team SOL Defender)

Key returners:Vince McGlynn (Sr.-MF/D), Kais Jawawdeh (Sr.-MF/D), Chrsitian Rodgers (Sr.-F), Nick Walker (Sr. GK), Mike Thomas (Sr-F/MF), Ramir Cofield (Jr.-F/MF), Alex Daeche (Jr. D) and large number of talented Soph (& handful of Freshmen)

Outlook:  “We have a technically sound team who should be able to move the ball. We will make mistakes because of our inexperience and youth. At any given time, we could have 5-6 sophomores and freshmen on the field at the same time.
“If our young group can withstand the physical rigors of varsity soccer, we have chance to finish in the top half of the league and qualify for the playoffs.”
