Notable losses:
John Nice (Northampton CC)
Brandon Sloskey

Key returners:
Beknazar Baiyshbekov (SO Outside)
Dan Berzin (SR Outside)
El-Mansur Sagaliev (SO Setter)

Others to watch:
Ruhan Jaikaria (SR Libero)
Nurislam Urkunbaev (SO Opposite)
Arlan Zharassov (JR Middle)

Strengths:
“This group has spent a lot of time together during the offseason bonding as a team. We are really strong at the pins with two returning outside hitters. The service line is an area that we can take advantage of our opponents. Leaning heavily on our experienced setter to help run our offense and take us to where we can be will be key.”

Question Marks:
“Our biggest question marks will be in the middle this season. We have a ton of middles battling for two starting spots currently. Watching who steps up and takes those starting spots will help solidify our lineup as we move into the season”

Outlook:
“We have a really solid core group of talented upperclassmen that we will lean heavily on to steer us in the right direction this year. They have shown immense growth this offseason. With only two seniors, our large junior class will need to step up and play a major role this season. We have a lot of juniors that have varsity experience so that should help us be competitive in the league. We are aiming to try and get back on top of the SOL National Conference, compete for the District One title and return to the PIAA state playoffs.”
