Strengths: Depth, Veteran Experience
Question marks: 95 innings worth of pitching graduated;
Outlook: We feel very good about this group of guys coming into the season. While several pitchers were lost to graduation, there are plenty fighting for a shot to fill those voids. Around the diamond, we have a strong core up the middle, and have several guys who have made great strides in many areas of the game over the last couple of years, ready to fill the vacancies we have. There is good, healthy competition at some positions and some exciting young players ready for their turn. The Continental is a tough conference, and consistency and command will be necessary for success.
