Strengths/Question Marks:   “We return six starting position players from last season as well as two players that saw significant plate appearances in the DH role that will move to starting positions into the field. Three players (Jacko 2014, Campbell 2014, Marshall 2015) are returning for their third year of starting at the Varsity level.
After graduating three starting pitchers that went on the pitch in college, we return three pitchers (two seniors, one junior) that threw Varsity innings last year. Several Junior and sophomore arms will plan to be in the mix for relief innings and spot starts as well.”

Outlook:  “After missing District playoffs by just one league win, we are looking forward to making that next step as a program this year. We won all five non-league games we played, but dropped some league games that we shouldn’t have.  We need to play with a high level of intensity and sense of urgency no matter the opponent and not take a pitch off.  If we can do that and play with one united goal in mind, we expect to contend for a league championship and compete in District and state playoffs.”
