PENNSBURY GIRLS’ BASKETBALL PREVIEW

Last year’s record: 11-12 overall (6-6 SOL) Lost Leading scorer and rebounding Kate Mix in game six of the season. Made the District playoffs for the first time in five years and increased win total from the previous season again. Lost at eventual state champion Upper Dublin in round one.

Strengths:- Attitude/Skill level is considerably higher – especially in regard to shot making, shooting and breaking pressure.
Questions: Size, experience in key spots. December will be up and down.
Outlook:
“Playoff experience was a boost last year. From eight girls in the program in May of 2016 to having a freshman team this year, things are spinning quickly. The key questions …will the team stay healthy and if so, how will they handle going from years of hunting to now…being the hunted?”
