Strengths: Deep starting pitching, good veteran leadership up the middle, deep bullpen, and strong team chemistry. Shortstop Austin DiBonaventure will play at Chestnut Hill College next year.

Question Marks:  Graduated six seniors who were everyday starters in 2012. Only three projected starters among position players with varsity experience.

Outlook:  “The Colonials will be young, both in age and in varsity experience. Because of this, a major team goal will be consistent improvement. Last year’s senior-laden team did not advance to the district playoffs, but many members of that class were three-year varsity starters who handled the bulk of the playing time at key positions. Our young players this year will have to learn quickly, but they possess the talent and ability to do so.”
