Outlook:  “I think we made a lot of progress during the season last year. We won our two league games at the end of the year, and the guys went into the offseason and worked hard. The Sr. Legion fought its way into the League Championship game. Players are learning how to win and compete, and I expect us to be more competitive that last year. Players who were not playing another sport were in the weight room and doing speed training all offseason.
“I believe we have one of the toughest conferences in the state, so I believe every team will be tough. However, you have to beat the best to be the best. We have some work to do and I could see us there, but our goal is to focus on winning our next game all season. Our mantras this year are ‘Hustle is Habit’ and ‘In it to Win it’ because hustle is something we can always control, and we have to believe we can be in every game at all times no matter the inning or score.”
