SOUDERTON WRESTLING PREVIEW

Coach: Tristan Boyd (8^th year)

Assistant coaches: Jeff Kwortnik, Gregg Nolte, Chris Atkinson, Greg Wesolowich and Todd Andrade

Last year’s record: 6-10 overall, 4-2 in the league, 5^th at Manheim, 4^th at Big Red, 6^th in District 1 East

Notable losses: Harrison Andrade (University of South Carolina)

Key returners: Tyler Williams (Senior 138, 145); Bruno Stolfi (Senior, 195); Connor Trowbridge (Senior 145/152)

Strengths/Question Marks: “Senior heavy and a lot of talent in the room. Very strong schedule should provide great preparation for the post-season, but some growing pains may occur due to strength of schedule for some of our freshmen in the lineup.”

Outlook: “We have a lot of seniors this season with the capability to do well. Tyler is a returning PA 6^th and Bruno lost in the blood round at states. Several other seniors including Connor, Brydon Bateman, Spenser Haslam and Dean Taipale should do well this season provided we stay healthy through a tougher than normal schedule. We are adding some good youth this season as well. Our league is always tough especially with Quakertown back in the continental but we should be in the mix with everyone this season.”
