SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP BASEBALL PREVIEW

Coach:  Dennis Primavera (3^rd year as head coach)

Last year’s record:  5-9 SOL, 7-11 overall, went to district finals last 7 years.

Notable losses:  Matt Gauss, Jack Corneley, Colin Criniti, Cory Cottone

Strengths/Question Marks: 
Hopefully, pitching will be our strength, defensively, our infield is solid, outfield is question mark. Offensively, we are optimistic.

Outlook:
We are expecting a productive season from our six starting seniors. The key will be the play of juniors, Nick Pave, Tim Dahme and Macleod Farley. Sophomore Brian Murphy is expected to produce.
Our goal is to improve our league play and go to the states.
