•Steve longo went three-for-four with three runs batted in.

•PW catcher Kevin Reilly collected three singles and one run batted in.

•PW designated hitter Jack Mangan had two hits and two runs batted in (including a sacrifice fly).

•Cheltenham starter Adam Turk-Karen yielded 10 hits, six runs, and three walks while striking out one in four innings.

•PW first baseman Brad Krenicky launched a solo home run over the left field fence off Adam Turk-Karen in the bottom of the fourth. The Colonials needed a discussion with both PIAA umpires to determine whether the baseball was fair, and the baseball landed over the hill behind the left field fence plenty of feet to the right of the left field foul pole. It's the second consecutive game Krenicky has homered.

•The Colonials shut out an opponent for the second consecutive game. It's the fourth time this season PW did not allow a run.

•PW improves to 11-6, 8-5 Suburban One American. In 2017, the Colonials finished in a last place tie with Cheltenham in the conference at 3-11.

•PW has not allowed a run in 18 consecutive defensive innings.

•Starting pitcher Ben Mascio permitted four hits and two walks while striking out nine in six and two-thirds innings. Steve Blum recorded the game's final out on the mound by striking out Cheltenham's Ben Kaplan swinging.

•The Colonials have now won four consecutive meetings against Cheltenham.

•PW hasn't qualified for the district playoffs since 2014. The Colonials last won a playoff game in 2011 but haven't hosted since 2010.
