The Norristown Eagles defeat Upper Dublin HS after late game single, 3-2

Norristown and Upper Dublin volleyed the lead four times on Thursday, but Norristown came out on top for a 3-2 win on Thursday at Upper Dublin HS.
The top of the first saw Norristown take an early lead, 1-0. The Eagles attack began with a single from Jimmy Perna. A stolen base then moved Perna from first to second. Then Brandon Iorio singled, plating Perna Upper Dublin answered the Eagles top inning with one run of its own in the first. .The Eagles took the lead in the fifth inning and held on for the victory. A two-run single by Grimes scored Altieri and Thompson to give Norristown the lead for good.

Bobby Altieri had a hot bat for Norristown going 3-4 and scored one run. He singled in the first, third, and fifth innings.
Brandon Iorio got the win for the Eagles . He allowed two runs over seven innings. He struck out three, walked five and surrendered six hits.
