The Wissahickon Trojans lost a heartbreaking double overtime loss to Cheltenham 66-64.
With a 56-53 lead and under 6 seconds on the clock in regulation, Cheltenham threw the ball to Tinsley, he took a dribble across half court and made a heave, and it banked in at the buzzer to put the game into the first overtime 56-56. The second overtime was back and forth, but ended even at 62 with no serious drama. Then all tied up and 20 seconds to go, Josiah Hudson drove towards the right side baseline and was fouled on a jump shot. He hit both with 2.5 remaining and that was the game 66-64.
Dom Vacchiano had 20 and Brayden Ryan had 18 for Wissahickon. N. Tinsley led Cheltenham with 14 and J. Hutson had 12.
The Trojans travel to Hatboro tomorrow night.
