"Our performance tonight was really disappointing. It didn't help that 3 of our starters were sick and another one of our seniors has been out the last two games with the flu, but it's not an excuse. Our effort was nowhere even close to where it needed to be the first half. We played with no intensity and looked like we were going through the motions. We didn't play smart, nobody was looking to be aggressive offensively, and we got killed on the boards." "The one bright spot tonight was how impressive our younger girls played. I thought they did a great job the second half of rising to the challenge. They came in and played hard and executed the offense. Jenna Rodebaugh had a great game all around, but I was really happy to see her knock down her outside shots since she has been working hard on it. Hannah Reimel did a great job filling in at point and showed great poise and decision making, and Chelsea Meltzer brought a lot of energy and had some aggressive drives to the basket. It was great to see them play well and contribute.
