This was a game where we challenged our girls to attack and be aggressive against a physically bigger team and the girls were up to the challenge. At the end of the day, rebounding out of the zone really hurt us. After the game the girls were aware that if we would have rebounded better, we could have won that game.

After losing to New Hope Friday, beating Bristol on Saturday and not getting a chance to practice for today, I wasn't sure what to expect today. Overall I was proud of the adjustments that the girls made during the game and the grit that they showed. Our girls went right after them. Dani Brusha, we exceptional tonight, I think this was the first time her new teammates fully realized how good she is. There are a few plays that she made where the coaches just looked at each other and said "wow". She is very effective attacking the basket.
Emma DiJoseph scored 13 points off of the bench for us and gave us a spark that we needed.
After the game we told the girls that while we need to do a better job on the boards and we need to talk more on the defensive side, all of those can be corrected. If they commit to tightening those things up and continue to play for each other, we should be a team that has a chance to be that team that no one wants to play.
