We were fortunate to catch New Hope on the fourth game in five days and they were also down a starter. I say fortunate because they played us tough. Izzy Elizondo and Emily Wilson are both all league players. Every time we threatened to pull away, they would make a shot to keep the game close. It was their senior night and they had a few girls play more than they typically would and credit to Steve and his staff, those girls were prepared and played tough. Sam McAndrew and Ishe Murhjee both made shots in the 3rd quarter that did not allow us to pull away and Nina Meixler is always a tough match up.

On our end, we finally got back on track offensively. It looked like they were trying to limit Bri and luckily we had Dani and Sydney to rely on. Dani knocked down five 3's on her way to 21 points. Sydney Santoro had 20 points in a variety of ways. Her perimeter game has really improved. We told Syd a few weeks ago that the next step in her progression was to go from being a Jason Kidd type of player to a Larry Bird type. She is an exceptional passer, our best rebounder, has great vision and as her 3 point shot continues to be more consistent she's going to be tough to stop.
