William Tennent Comments

The Panthers did not get the start they needed and quickly found themselves down 17-7 after the first. Pennridge was hot early and never seemed to cool off. A late run by the Panthers to close the first half cut the lead to 25-18. The second half proved to be much of the same. Pennridge continued to play well and knocked down big shots, while the Panthers never seemed to get anything going and didn't execute offensively. "It was a really disappointing effort from our team tonight, said Coach Whitney." "We came out flat, with no energy, and played with no sense of urgency." "It's probably the worse we have played all season." "I think what is most disappointing is the fact that we have been really competitive the last several games, and have made so much progress; but to play the way we did tonight was unacceptable." "We just didn't seem to be mentally in the game, and that can't happen especially in conference play."
