Today's match with North Penn going up against rival Pennridge was for the boys a battle for first place holding on to a one game lead in the continental division and for the North Penn girls to try and hold on to their one game division lead.
As a closely contested match the boys split 2-2 with the Knights of North Penn winning the first game by only 17 pins with three bowlers bowling over 200 ( Brandon Peel 213,Steven Gerhart 211, Tyler Sharpe 209) and two bowlers from the Pennridge Rams had high games putting the pressure on with Vince Kauders (235) and Jake Gordon (253).The second game went all the Rams way winning by 87 pins and holding a 70 pin total lead. Come the third game the Knights had to at least win the game to hold on to their lead and with a bowler substitution in Dyan Bailey Smith throwing a double and a important mark in the tenth along with nice a nice game from Jimmy Ullman (203) and a closing game winning score from anchor man Steven Gerhart (240) by only 15 pins. Pennridge won totals by 55 pins.
